Oh wow !! Amazing pictures Lara. Thank you for sharing. I'd noted that the eclipse would be at 10:30 on 1st August which was the day I left for England but forgot all about it. Lovely to see these wonderful photos. Thank you !

Thanks for sharing the photos - they are awesome. I have experienced one solar eclipse which was near Munich in 1999. It was a fascinating experience especially seeing birds going to roost as the eclipse started then returning to normal after it was over.
